Types of Solid Carbide Tips

The models commonly used in wood processing are YG6, YG8. The numbers after YG indicate the percentage of cobalt content. With the increase of cobalt content, the impact toughness and flexural strength of the alloy are improved, but the hardness and wear resistance are decreased. Choose according to the actual situation.

Types of Blade Body

1. 75Cr1 Mould Steel has good hardenability, strong hardness and rigidity, and less heat-resistant deformation. It is an ultra-high-strength steel with stable thermoplasticity and is suitable for manufacturing high-grade saw blades.

2. 65Mn spring steel has good elasticity and plasticity, economical material, good hardenability in heat treatment, low heating temperature, easy deformation, and can be used for saw blades that do not require high cutting requirements.

3. Carbon tool steel has high carbon content and high thermal conductivity, but its hardness and wear resistance drop sharply when subjected to a temperature of 200℃- 250℃, the heat treatment deformation is large, the hardenability is poor, and the tempering time is long and easy to crack.

Numbers of Teeth

Generally speaking, the more teeth there are, the more cutting edges can be cut in a unit time, and the better the cutting performance is. However, the more the number of cutting teeth, the more cemented carbide is needed, and the price of the saw blade is high, but the teeth are too dense. , the amount of chips between the teeth becomes smaller, which is easy to cause the saw blade to heat up; in addition, there are too many saw teeth, and if the feed amount is not properly matched, the cutting amount of each tooth is very small, which will aggravate the friction between the cutting edge and the workpiece and affect the service life of the cutting edge. . Usually the tooth spacing is 15-25mm, and a reasonable number of teeth should be selected according to the material to be sawed.

Attention During Working

1. Please hang the saw blade vertically on a dry shelf. Please avoid damp places. Never place the saw blade flat on the ground or on the shelf. Placing it flat will cause the saw blade to deform.

2. When using, do not exceed the specified maximum speed.

3. When using, you must wear protective cover, gloves, safety helmet, labor insurance shoes, and protective glasses.

4. When installing the saw blade, the performance and use of the saw table must be confirmed first, and it is best to read the manual of the saw table first. In order to avoid wrong installation, causing an accident.

5. When installing the saw blade, it is necessary to check whether the saw blade is cracked, distorted, flattened, dropped teeth, etc., and then install it.

6. The teeth of the saw blade are super hard and sharp. It is forbidden to collide or fall to the ground. It must be handled with care.

7. After the saw blade is installed, it must be confirmed whether the center hole of the saw blade is firmly fixed on the flange of the saw table. Whether the plate rotates eccentrically shakes.

8. The cutting direction indicated by the arrow of the saw blade must be aligned with the rotation direction of the saw table. It is strictly forbidden to install in the opposite direction, as the wrong direction will lead to tooth loss.

9. Pre-rotation time: After replacing the saw blade, it needs to be pre-rotated for one minute before use, so that the cutting table can only be cut when the saw table enters the working state.

10. Before cutting, it must be confirmed whether the use of the saw blade is consistent with the material being cut.

11. When cutting the material, the saw blade in normal operation must be gently cut into the material, and it is forbidden to press and push hard.

12. It is forbidden to reverse, it will lead to tooth loss and danger.

13. If you hear an abnormal sound during use, see abnormal shaking or uneven surface, please stop the operation immediately and find the cause of the abnormality. Replace the saw blade.

14. When cutting, it is forbidden to suddenly stop the saw blade in the middle of the object to be cut. Stopping in the middle of the cutting object will cause the sawtooth to fall off and the saw blade to deform.

15. Please wipe the anti-rust oil in time after cutting. To prevent the saw blade from rusting.

16. If the sawtooth is not sharp, it is necessary to grind the sawtooth again. It must be taken to the grinding shop designated by the manufacturer or a shop with grinding technology to grind. Otherwise, the original angle of the saw blade will be damaged, the cutting accuracy will be affected, and the service life of the saw blade will be shortened.
